// QUALITY

According to the highest of standards

Quality and continuity that we live, breathe and promise!

Our focus is on achieving maximum customer satisfaction and ensuring individual quality requirements. As a customer, you benefit from the competence that we are able to bring to bear at any time thanks to our size, experience and membership of the Neuenhauser Group.

With the process of advanced quality planning, we employ what we regard as the ideal basis for optimising potential procedures. In combination with the continuous improvement process (CIP) methodology and the consistent application of lean management methods, we draw up an analysis for all relevant processes to implement your project based on the initial consultation.

Our quality management and the performance of worker self-checks during production, along with proven documentation management, round off our range of services.

Besides quality and service, we also focus on work safety. Our goals are simple: no hazards to health and no accidents – for both our employees and our visitors. The interaction between purchasing, quality management and production makes us a global player in the field of components, assemblies and systems, which we continuously continue to develop along with our customers.

LEAN MANAGEMENT

LEAN management or LEAN production demands concentration on what is essential: the value-added processes. This enables the achievement of lean processes and increased transparency. Above all, the effects of this methodology, which is anchored in the Toyota Production System (TPS), arise through the interaction of various principles. LEAN management is essentially based on seven elements:

  • Value-added and process orientation
  • Just-in-time/just-in-sequence production (synchronous production system – SPS)
  • Continuous improvement process (CIP)
  • Qualification and motivation
  • Adequate technical equipment
  • Flat work organisation hierarchies
  • Consistent quality management

5S WORKPLACE

Fault-free products can only be manufactured and services that meet requirements provided in controlled processes in a clean and organised environment. The indispensable prerequisite for this is the 5S methodology consisting of the following activities:

  • Seiri: Sorting out parts that are not required at the workplace.
  • Seiton: The required parts are placed in defined locations in a way that is understandable to all employees.
  • Seiso: Cleaning the workplace and the tools, and creating a system in which nothing becomes dirty again.
  • Seiketsu: Maintaining the orderly and clean condition established through Seiri, Seiton and Seiso.
  • Shitsuke: Discipline and continuous improvement. Performing work in the correct manner.

SHOP FLOOR MANAGEMENT

Shop floor management is a management instrument. At NCAS, several management levels are involved in this, from team leader to the business unit management. It encompasses processes, rules, modes of behaviour, methods and systems for ensuring that production is as efficient as possible.

The constant changes and process improvements necessitate a management understanding and management system that permanently support the employees in their daily work, in recognising the need for action and in setting priorities.
